Zafu Floor Cushion for Sensory Spaces and Meditation
Create an inviting spot for quiet moments with the Zafu Floor Cushion. This round, buckwheat-filled cushion combines a soft velvet cover with a gently rustling natural filling, making it a versatile addition to sensory spaces, reading corners and meditation areas.
Whether you’re settling down for mindfulness practice or taking a break in a quiet corner, the Zafu provides a raised seat for floor-based activities.
Explore Texture, Sound and Movement
The velvet cover offers a soft surface to touch, while the buckwheat husks shift and rustle as the cushion moves. The natural filling also has a subtle scent, creating a sensory experience that will suit some preferences more than others.
Use it as floor seating or hold it close during quiet activities, according to individual comfort and preference.
A Versatile Seat for Everyday Use
Place the Zafu in a sensory room, yoga studio or living space for meditation, reading and floor sitting. The carry handle makes it easy to move between rooms, and the zip is neatly hidden beneath the handle.
Materials and Filling
The cushion features an OEKO-TEX®-certified soft velvet cover and a filling of natural, whole buckwheat husks.
Buckwheat husks, also called hulls, allow air to circulate between the shells. The filling can be topped up as it settles over time.
Size and Weight
Diameter: 35 cm / 14 inches
Height: 18 cm / 7 inches
Weight: 2.5 kg
Care Instructions
Remove all buckwheat filling before washing the cover at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Keep the filling dry and ensure the cover is completely dry before refilling.
Add more buckwheat husks when needed to maintain your preferred cushion fullness.
